描述：作品以席慕容的诗《戏子》为创作背景：（请不要相信我的美丽，也不要相信我的爱情，在涂满了油彩的面容之下，我有的是颗戏子的心，所以，请千万不要，不要把我的悲哀当真，也别随着我的表演心碎，亲爱的朋友，今生今世，我只是个戏子，永远在别人的故事里，流着自己的泪)以京剧丑角这样一个戏子的形象为设计原形。画中人一边在哭，一边好似在浅浅的嘲笑；丑角的形象，确有美丽的面庞，紧紧裹着头巾，反射出当代人思想传统与内心的保守。整个创作以矛盾与对比的表现手法，表达对现实生活的种种无奈With《Actress》, a poem written by Hsi Mu-jung as its creation background ：(Please do not believe in my beauty, nor my love.
