Creating an almost flawless idol, agencies maximize their profits since fans are expecting a perfect image.By producing an album, we expose the common phenomenon within the East Asian entertainment industry: monetizing artists as depersonalized, homogeneous products. This is a collaborative work done by Emily Yiran Jing, Tania Huiting Luo, and Ash Yuxuan Wei.
