Inspiration
After losing her sister to suicide, founder April Peck trained in suicide prevention and vowed to save others. Knowing hair improves self-image and empowerment, she identified six types of hair breakage. We worked with April to correct these conditions with user friendly product concepts that would save consumers’ hair from the root source of damage, i.e. chemicals, pollution, thermal devices, etc.
An easy dispensing, air less pump protects the formulations and allows for precise application.
Customers unbox the product by tearing out a “zip strip” that removes the source of damage.
Unique Properties
The brand’s founder discovered fenugreek seed, an ancient ingredient for hair and scalp, then harnessed its powers to create Fenugen®. All products contain Fenugen® in addition to a unique blend of natural ingredients sourced from all over the world.
Every millimeter of the secondary carton (box) was maximized to tell this brand’s unique story: the source of damage, a proprietary ingredient in the formulation, and Save Me From’s social commitment to suicide prevention.
A smaller, on-brand, sample size was created in order to encourage trial.
