It will be America’s first state-of-the-art museum designed to showcase the marvels and impact of our Surface Forces around the world. The future home of the National Museum of the Surface Navy is aboard a bona fide battleship, right on the water. This historic location is brought alive by the countless crew members who volunteer their time; the perfect place to commemorate and celebrate all that the Surface Navy does. Yoske Mitsui was assigned to create the visual identity system including logo and also develop brand identity specifications including the appropriate colors, typography for both print and digital media.The new symbol for The National Museum of the Surface Navy represented US Navy’s ship and emphasized American nationality.
