描述：McDermott Identity Recently I had the chance to design the visual identity of photographer John McDermott (USA). He and his family moved to Cambodia about ten years ago, nowdays he is running a photo studio in Siem Reap which has three different aspects, fine art photography, commercial photography and three galleries around town. Our goal was to create a minimal, elegant visual identity with a drop of eastern culture wich is understandable for tourists as well. Photography is about to take pictures, to capture unique moments for the future. All these pictures are eternal, endless in a way. It’s preserving the present time. Therefore I was looking for a symbol which can reflect this concept and could be used as a modular sign to separate the different part of the business, but still recognizable as they belong to each other.
